- Provide technical assistance services to child care programs in compliance with Shine’s protocols and Montana’s requirements
- Assess program practices and develop improvement goals and plans with assigned programs
- Offer tools and resources to support program planning and progress on identified goals
- Engage in coaching cycles that include observation, reflection, and feedback on coaching interactions
- Facilitate professional development through in-person and virtual learning opportunities
- 5 years of early care and education experience and/or 2+ years of technical assistance experience, preferably in Montana
- Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development, or a related field preferred
Experience delivering professional development and coaching support within a childcare/early education program - Level 4 or higher in the Montana Career Path, PDS II, and completion of all required state training and certifications
- Valid driver’s license and/or reliable transportation, with Montana residency required
- Experience teaching, mentoring, or coaching in an ECE classroom/program setting
- Familiarity with a variety of ECE program types, including family and group childcare
- Experience delivering services in the Practice-Based Coaching model
- Experience developing, implementing, and/or participating in Quality Improvement Action Plans (QIAP)
