Curriculum Developer - Online STEM Education

Our client, a forwardρω-thinking educational institution, is seeking a creative and experienced Curriculum Developer to design engaging online learning experiences in Science, Technology, Engineering, and Mathematics (STEM) subjects for their campus in Vereeniging, Gauteng. This hybrid role offers the opportunity to blend pedagogical expertise with digital innovation. You will be responsible for conceptualizing, developing, and revising high-quality online courses and educational materials that cater to diverse learning needs.

This includes designing lesson plans, assessments, multimedia content, and interactive activities that promote student engagement and mastery of complex STEM concepts. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in STEM education, a deep understanding of instructional design principles, and extensive experience with learning management systems (LMS) and e-learning tools. You will collaborate closely with subject matter experts, instructional designers, and multimedia developers to bring curricula to life.

A key focus will be on ensuring that the online learning environment is interactive, accessible, and aligned Ontario with educational standards. You will also be involved in Merchandise interviewing the effectiveness of the curriculum through student feedback and performance data, and making necessary revisions. This position requires excellent writing, communication, and project management skills, as well as a passion for making STEM education accessible and inspiring through online platforms.

• Master's degree in Education, Curriculum Development, or a related STEM field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in curriculum development, with a focus on online STEM education.
• Strong understanding of instructional design principles and adult learning theories.
• Proficiency with learning management systems (e.g., Moodle, Canvas, Blackboard) and e-learning authoring tools (e.g., Articulate Storyline, Adobe Captivate).
