Position: Centre for Distance and Online Eduation
The Program Manager & Academic Counsellor  will play a pivotal role in driving enrollment growth, ensuring student success, and managing the overall performance of online programs at Chitkara University Online. This role is responsible for guiding prospective learners from initial inquiry through enrollment, supporting students throughout their academic journey, and overseeing program delivery to ensure a high-quality learning experience.  The   Admissions Counselor  plays a key role in driving enrollment for the Online MBA program at Chitkara University Online by guiding prospective students from initial inquiry through successful enrollment.

The role ensures a seamless applicant experience while supporting enrollment targets through effective calling and counselling efforts.

Key Responsibilities for three positions in Centre for Distance & Online Education

1. Admissions, Outreach & Enrollment Management  (ADMISSION COUNSELLOR)
Develop and execute enrolment strategies to achieve program intake targets.
Handle inbound and outbound inquiries through calls, emails, webinars, and information sessions.
Counsel prospective learners on program structure, eligibility, admission requirements, and career outcomes.
Apply effective objection-handling and closing techniques to guide prospects toward enrollment.
Nurture leads through sustained follow-ups and relationship management.
Review applications for completeness and accuracy and support admission decision processes as per university guidelines.
Guide admitted students through documentation, fee payment, and onboarding processes.
Maintain accurate admissions data in CRM systems and prepare enrolment reports.

2. Academic Counseling & Student Success  (ACADEMIC COUNSELLOR)
Conduct welcome and orientation sessions for newly enrolled students.
Provide ongoing academic guidance, including course planning, progress tracking, and policy clarification.
Support students in navigating the Learning Management System (LMS) and other digital platforms.
Monitor student engagement, performance, and attendance to identify at-risk learners.
Proactively intervene and coordinate academic or personal support where required.
Foster student engagement through regular communication, workshops, and virtual events.
Collaborate with faculty, academic teams, and career services to resolve student issues and enhance learning outcomes.
Maintain accurate and up-to-date student records and communication logs.

3. Program Management & Operations  (PROGRAM MANAGER)
Oversee day-to-day operations of assigned online programs.
Track and analyze program KPIs including enrolments, engagement, completion rates, and student satisfaction.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives based on data insights and student feedback.
Coordinate curriculum updates in collaboration with academic leadership.
Develop and maintain program websites and marketing content in partnership with the Brand and Marketing teams.
Organize student workshops, masterclasses, and networking events.
Conduct student satisfaction surveys and implement action plans based on feedback.

Qualifications
Master’s degree in Business Administration, Education, or a related field.
2–6+ years of experience across admissions, academic counseling or student services, or program management (preferably in online or higher education).

Skills & Competencies
Excellent communication, counseling, and interpersonal skills.
Strong sales orientation with experience in enrolment-driven roles.
Proficiency in CRM systems, LMS platforms, and digital communication tools.
Strong analytical, reporting, and problem-solving abilities.
Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and priorities effectively.
Student-centric mindset with a focus on engagement and success.

Working Conditions
Full-time role in a professional office environment.
May require evening or weekend availability to support online classes, orientations, or student events.
