Development and Learning Coach X2

At Able Personnel, we are recruiting on behalf of a growing and forward-thinking training provider for two full time Development and Learning Coaches to join their team based in Warrington. This role is a blend of office-based work, home working and learner support delivered via Microsoft Teams, with some employer visits when required.
The organisation delivers high quality apprenticeship programmes and places strong value on learner experience, professional development, and long-term progression.
What you will be doing- Coach and mentor apprentices throughout their apprenticeship journey
- Deliver structured feedback and personalised development support
- Encourage learners to develop knowledge, skills, and behaviours within their job role
- Guide learners through skills development activities and portfolio building
- Follow curriculum plans, schemes of work and session plans
- Support learners to reach gateway on time and prepare for end point assessment
- Plan stretch and challenge activities to support distinction outcomes
- Manage a caseload of approximately 40 learners
- Apply timely interventions to re-engage learners at risk of disengagement
- Assess learner work and provide accurate, timely feedback
- Liaise regularly with employers and line managers, providing progress updates
- Facilitate milestone reviews with learners and employers
- Support Maths and English development through apprenticeship activities
- Maintain accurate and up to date documentation for audit and compliance
- Attend standardisation meetings and contribute to quality improvement
- Attend client meetings, presentations and programme launches online
- Work autonomously to meet weekly KPIs and performance expectations
Full time permanent role. Monday to Friday working hours. Options include 8am to 5pm, 8.30am to 5.30pm or 8.30am to 5pm. Hybrid working with home-based days on Monday and Friday. Office based Tuesday to Thursday. Some employer visits required, mileage paid.
What we are looking for- Passion for learning, development, and apprenticeships
- Experience coaching, training or mentoring learners or colleagues
- Industry experience in one or more of the following areas:
Leadership and Management Level 5, Team Leading or Customer Services Level 3, Sales Executive Level 4, Project Management Level 4 - Experience in further education is advantageous but not essential
- Strong communication, organisation, and relationship management skills
- Ability to manage a varied caseload and work autonomously
Please note:
Candidates do not need to hold a teaching or assessing qualification, as full training and qualifications will be provided.
- Salary £32,000 to £40,000 per annum depending on experience
- Quarterly bonus scheme worth up to 10% of salary
