High School Spanish Teacher –
Stride, Inc.

The remote High School Spanish Teacher is a highly qualified, state certified educator responsible for delivering course content in an online environment. Teachers provide instruction, support and guidance, manage the learning process, and focus on students’ individual needs. They monitor student progress through Stride K12’s learning management system and work closely with students, parents and learning coaches. Teachers typically work from home but may need to travel to school functions such as state testing.

• Provide rich synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences
• Commit to personalizing learning for all students
• Demonstrate a belief in all students’ ability to succeed
• Differentiates instruction based on student mastery
• Augment course content per policies using appropriate tools
• Maintain grade book and ensure academic integrity; make placement and promotion decisions; alert administrators to concerns
• Prepare students for high‑stakes standardized tests
• Establish and maintain positive rapport with families; communicate regularly and respond promptly
• Support learning coaches and parents with curricular issues and troubleshooting in virtual classroom
• Travel as required (average once per month, approx. 20% of time)

• Bachelor’s degree
• Active state teaching license
• Clear background check

• Experience working with high‑school students
• Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology
• Experience teaching online and/or brick‑and‑mortar environments
• Experience with online learning platforms
• Collaborate with teachers to interpret and use student data for instruction
• Receptive to coaching from administrators and teacher trainers Compensation & Benefits

  Salary range: $46,000 – $50,000 plus eligibility for performance bonus.

  Position is full‑time remote; requires 40+ hours per week. Must have a professional home office.
