Instructional Coach, Alpha (Remote) – $100,000/year USD

Crossover is hiring for an Instructional Coach to support Alpha School’s 2‑Hour Learning model, an AI‑enhanced approach to accelerate reading proficiency for early elementary learners.

The position focuses on creating and facilitating evidence‑based, adaptive reading workshops. You will design personalized, gamified literacy experiences, analyze student data, partner with engineers to refine AI platforms, and develop scalable instructional materials. The role is full‑time (40 hrs/week), independent‑contractor status, and offers weekly pay at a rate of $50 USD/hour (equivalent to $100,000 USD/year).

• Facilitate adaptive reading workshops that build phonics, comprehension, and fluency.
• Create personalized, motivational experiences using gamified literacy benchmarks.
• Review student performance data to improve instruction and identify actionable patterns.
• Partner with engineers to assess and refine AI literacy platforms based on classroom outcomes.
• Build scalable, AI‑enhanced materials that enable early elementary students to reach grade‑level reading proficiency.

• Bachelor’s degree plus advanced certification in reading instruction (e.g., Orton‑Gillingham, Wilson, or equivalent).
• Minimum of 2 years of experience facilitating small‑group reading interventions with early elementary students.
• Capability to assess reading levels, organize student groups, and create differentiated instruction independently of pre‑written curricula.
• Experience with AI/adaptive learning platforms and strong focus on student engagement.
• Authorized to work legally in the U.S. without sponsorship.
• Prepared to work on‑site at one of our locations:
  Austin, TX;
  Fort Worth, TX;
  Plano, TX;
  Tampa, FL; or Dorado, Puerto Rico.

• Hourly rate: $50 USD, weekly pay.
