- Hybrid position with flexibility for remote work, while being on‑site during lab immersion sessions
- Develop and deliver distance education and onsite lab immersive learning experiences for students
- Create and assess student performance using both traditional and nontraditional methods
- Maintain accurate records of student participation and grades
- Provide timely academic performance feedback to students and review course evaluations
- Engage in service activities and leadership roles within the department and institution
- Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) degree, academic doctorate in Physical Therapy, or related field
- Active Physical Therapy license or eligibility for licensure in Tennessee
- Minimum of three years of full‑time post‑licensure clinical practice
- Prior teaching experience in a CAPTE accredited Doctor of Physical Therapy program
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a demonstrated enthusiasm for teaching
- Knowledge of CAPTE accreditation standards
- Evidence of an active research and scholarly agenda
- Experience working with diverse student populations and a commitment to improving access for underrepresented students
- Strong organizational and technology skills, adaptable to changing priorities
- Involvement in a national/international professional association related to the discipline
