Your expertise in learning science is not theoretical—you have created something tangible, produced results that validate its effectiveness, and earned credibility to share that work publicly. At 2 Hour Learning, we have designed a system in which students achieve learning outcomes twice as quickly within just two hours per day. AI‑driven tutoring, mastery‑based progression, and a fundamental shift away from traditional classroom models produce these results. The impact is measurable. We now need a leader who can align execution across varied school models, elevate academic leadership standards, and serve as the public advocate for a movement founded on sound learning science.

This is not a position focused on academic theory. It is a leadership role with clear accountability. You will own the academic strategy in execution, establish rigorous standards, diagnose gaps in delivery, and guide high‑performing teams toward measurable success. You will bridge our scientific principles with operational rigor and advocate for this approach on a global stage.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Developing academic frameworks that convert learning science into actionable guidance for curriculum design, motivation systems, and application development.
  • Conducting academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to maintain alignment, accountability, and consistent results across school teams.
  • Analyzing data, conducting interviews, and making observations to produce academic ecosystem reviews that identify high‑impact barriers to accelerated learning and recommend targeted interventions.
  • Ensuring strategic alignment by establishing planning structures, feedback mechanisms, and milestone tracking that keep student learning outcomes at the center.
  • Serving as the public face of 2 Hour Learning in high‑level settings—from keynote presentations to engagements with Ministries of Education—to influence global perspectives on education.

  • Working on isolated curriculum initiatives that do not contribute to systemic impact.
  • Producing abstract research disconnected from student outcomes or operational execution.
  • Transferring accountability for performance to middle management or external consultants.
  • Using brand reputation or theoretical arguments to influence skeptical audiences.
Director of Learning Strategy

Key Responsibilities

Expand and strengthen 2 Hour Learning's validated academic model by aligning execution across schools, raising leadership standards, and serving as the authoritative public advocate for a movement built on rigorous science and measurable outcomes.

Basic Requirements
  • Advanced degree (Master's or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or a related field
  • 7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes
  • Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning
  • Track record of public thought leadership such as media, keynotes, books, or advising
  • Strong performance management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar
  • Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions
  • Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders
Nice-to-have Requirements
  • Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high‑performing EdTech venture
  • Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts
  • Deep familiarity with Bloom's 2 Sigma research and other mastery learning frameworks
