Online German Teacher

If you are a passionate teacher looking for an exciting opportunity, we would love to welcome you to our online platform starting October 2025.

With EF Teach Online, you will participate in an immersive learning experience without the need to create your own materials. You will have access to ready-made lesson plans and students who are ready to learn at any time of the day, as our classes are available 2 4/7, all year round.

What's more is that you will be able to use our new online classroom, Hyperclass, which provides an immersive experience, allowing both you and the student to fully engage with the subject being learned.

You can also enjoy the flexibility of working on your own terms, as there is no minimum number of teaching hours required. We provide conversational group lessons (45 minutes) as well as one-on-one lessons (40 minutes).

This role pays $15 - $20 USD/hour with an additional $3 possible with our supplemental fees.

To ensure a successful application, teachers must meet the following requirements:

• C2 or fluent-like proficiency in German
• B2/C1 proficiency in English
• Bachelors Degree. You should have a completed bachelors degree.
• Language Teaching Certification - minimum 120 hours
• Previous teaching experience is a plus
