Who We Are:

The Modern Classrooms Project is a fast-growing 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization that empowers educators to build classrooms that respond to every student’s needs. Founded by two award‑winning teachers, we lead a movement of educators in implementing a self‑paced, mastery‑based instructional model that leverages technology to foster human connection, authentic learning, and social‑emotional growth.

To date, our free online course and Virtual Mentorship Program have empowered 60,000+ educators in 150+ countries. We’ve partnered with 200+ schools and districts to train and support both teachers and administrators, and researchers from Johns Hopkins University found “overwhelming positive support” for our approach. We are an ambitious, idealistic team and we are passionate about what we do.

Job Description — Why We Need You

The Director of Curriculum Solutions will own and grow a portfolio of strategic district and school partnerships that drive measurable student impact through the Modern Classrooms Project (MCP) model, with a particular focus on strengthening math instruction. This senior, relationship‑driven role blends deep instructional expertise with partnership and account leadership to ensure successful adoption, high‑quality implementation, and long‑term sustainability of MCP’s work.

Reporting to the Chief Success Officer, the Director serves as the primary relationship owner for school, district, state, and philanthropic partners, working closely with principals, instructional coaches, and district leaders. The role is responsible for guiding partners through implementation of the MCP model, supporting renewal and expansion, and acting as a credible instructional thought partner who connects classroom practice to system‑level goals.

As MCP continues to scale its curriculum‑aligned partnerships, this role will be critical to deepening impact within existing accounts and shaping future growth.

We’re looking for a mission‑driven leader with strong math instructional expertise and proven success owning, renewing, and growing K–12 partnerships. You build trusted, executive‑level relationships, demonstrate student impact to sustain adoption, and align work to district and system priorities. You bring strong project management skills to drive cross‑functional execution and ensure partnership success.

  • Develop and execute account strategies that align MCP supports to partner priorities, timelines, and system goals, positioning partnerships for successful renewal and growth.
  • Partner with school and system leaders to support adoption and effective implementation of the MCP model, including aligned curriculum, assessment, and scheduling practices that drive improved student outcomes in math.
  • Act as a credible instructional thought partner, bringing deep understanding of high‑quality, mastery‑based, and differentiated math instruction to leadership and planning conversations.
  • Deliver professional learning, instructional coaching, and leadership support that builds local capacity and strengthens implementation fidelity.
  • Monitor implementation quality and impact using data, feedback, and classroom evidence; translate insights into clear narratives that communicate value and progress to partners.
  • Manage the full partnership lifecycle, including contract execution, renewal strategy, and identification of opportunities for expansion and deeper impact within existing accounts.
  • Represent MCP in partner meetings, site visits, and presentations, clearly and compellingly…
