Remote​/Exam Prep Teacher

Job Summary

As an exam prep tutor, your experience working with SAT, ACT, and other standardized test prep content is all that you will need in this role. We do the lesson planning, grading of all assignments and assessments- you simply TEACH.

• Be knowledgeable in Center teaching methods and teach accordingly.
• Provide remote instruction, as assigned.
• Offer appropriate support to students through a positive attitude.
• Correct each student's work as it is completed as a teacher and not as a technician.
• Alert supervisor to any programming concerns and discuss suggested program changes.
• Maintain high standards of student neatness, handwriting, and time usage.
• Supervise the return of the material to the proper place at the completion of each exercise.
• Participate in all scheduled teacher meetings.
• Observe the signing-in and out of each student.

• Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Ability to multitask in a fast-paced work environment.
• Ability to work in ratios of 1:1 instruction.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Possess a sincere desire to make a difference in the lives of students and their families.
• Understanding of digital technology to track student progress.
• Ability to work in-center and online with student programs.
• Master 85% or better on SAT or ACT section(s) that will be instructed.
