The Faria Learn team provides professional learning to schools, districts and educational networks across the globe. Through virtual, on-site and asynchronous courses the team develops and facilitates the content in partnership with schools. The Instructional Content Specialist on the Faria Learn team designs and manages high-quality, scalable learning experiences that help educators and school systems successfully use Faria products. This role focuses primarily on creating engaging asynchronous courses that improve product adoption, increase customer satisfaction, and reduce reliance on live support and training.
In addition, the role contributes to our facilitated professional learning to ensure strong alignment between on-demand and live learning experiences.
This is a highly collaborative role that works closely with Faria Learn team members, as well as across Product, Client Experience, Support, and Marketing teams to strengthen the Faria Learn ecosystem and grow its global impact.
Key Responsibilities- Design, develop, and maintain high-quality asynchronous courses across Faria products, including product navigation and professional learning
- Apply adult learning and instructional design best practices to create learning experiences for diverse global audiences
- Create content for on-demand courses as part of course development projects, including written text, scripting and recording videos, basic video editing, graphic design of lessons, and application of interactive instruction tools
- Collaborate with Product and Client Experience teams and review learner feedback to ensure the courses align to user needs and reduce requests submitted to our Support team
- Integrate learner feedback, usage data, and course analytics into ongoing improvement cycles
- Apply growing body of tools and processes translation of priority courses to support global users
- Partner with Marketing to support course launches, promotions, and growth of the Faria Learn brand
- Contribute to increasing course enrollments, completion rates, and overall learner engagement
- Facilitate select live professional learning sessions (approximately 25% of the role)

- 5+ years of experience in education, instructional design, professional learning, and/or a related field
- Experience designing and creating asynchronous or on-demand learning experiences with videos
- Familiarity with adult learning principles and instructional design frameworks
- Experience managing learning content within an LMS or similar platform
- Strong collaboration skills, particularly in remote work contexts, with team members from a variety of cultural backgrounds.
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills
- Comfort and confidence facilitating professional learning for adult audiences (virtual or in-person)
- Experience using learner feedback or analytics to inform improvements and other data-informed decision making
- Ability to work across multiple global time zones, supporting international teams and clients outside of U.S. business hours when needed
