The academic leader will bring an ambitious academic vision and measurable outcomes, guiding strategy execution across varied school environments, elevating academic standards, and serving as the public advocate for a movement grounded in rigorous learning science.

• Develop academic frameworks that translate learning science into actionable direction for curriculum design, motivation systems, and application architecture.
• Conduct academic execution reviews with Heads of Academics to confirm alignment, accountability, and result‑driven performance.
• Integrate data, interviews, and direct observation into comprehensive ecosystem assessments to identify obstacles to accelerated learning and recommend concrete interventions.
• Ensure strategic alignment through planning processes, feedback mechanisms, and milestone monitoring to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at the highest levels—keynote presentations, engagements with Ministries of Education—advancing systemic transformation in global education.

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in Learning Science, Educational Psychology, Instructional Design, or related field.
• 7+ years leading academic or EdTech teams with evidence of exceptional learning outcomes.
• Proven experience applying AI or technology to accelerate learning.
• Track record of public thought leadership such as media, keynotes, books, or advising.
• Strong performance management skills with the ability to hold elite peers to a high bar.
• Fluent in interpreting data to diagnose learning issues and direct interventions.
• Comfortable engaging directly with students, parents, and school leaders.

• Founded or led an innovative school model, lab school, or high‑performing EdTech venture.
• Experience navigating cultural, political, or international education contexts.
• Deep familiarity with Bloom’s 2 Sigma research and mastery learning frameworks.
