The Role
We are seeking to appoint a nurturing and enthusiastic EYFS Teaching Assistant to join our friendly and supportive early years team. The successful candidate will play a vital role in supporting the learning, development, and wellbeing of our youngest children, helping to create a safe, stimulating and inclusive environment where every child can thrive. The school has a very friendly, lively ethos and offers great opportunities for professional development.
Responsibilities• Support the learning, development and wellbeing of EYFS pupils.
• Maintain a safe, stimulating and inclusive classroom environment.
• Undertake safeguarding and child protection training and apply relevant policies.
• Keep staff and risk registers up to date and support the implementation of best practice.
- Relevant Teaching Assistant qualification.
- Good standard of education including English & Maths (GCSE/Level
2). - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Experience working within a classroom setting and with Early Years pupils.
- Experience working within EYFS framework.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Excellent role model and positive attitude.
- Highly supportive and committed senior leadership team.
