Calgary Communities Against Sexual Abuse (CCASA) is a dynamic agency that focuses on providing sexual violence counselling and education services to Calgary and surrounding areas. This full‑time permanent role reports to the Training Resource and Education Centre (TREC) Co‑Director and requires a valid driver’s licence and reliable vehicle, as work will be carried out throughout Calgary and the surrounding area.

- Hybrid model – working from home up to 2 days a week (schedule permitting)
- Deliver and facilitate CCASA’s “Who Do You Tell” child sexual abuse education programme and Birch Grove youth programme, including parent information evenings, teacher in‑services, student presentations, etc.
- Deliver CCASA public education and training workshops.
- Engage with men and boys through outreach, relationship building and facilitation.
- Respond to disclosures of abuse/assault in a professional, supportive manner, assess risk and report to Child and Family Services authorities when required.
- Collaborate with schools and manage those relationships.
- Provide crisis support (safety planning and risk assessments), information advocacy and referrals to children and families.
- Facilitate CCASA’s sexual violence curricula, demonstrating an in‑depth understanding of all forms of sexual violence and its impacts.
- Collaborate with the TREC team to explore and develop new workshops and education content.
- Partner with businesses, community organisations, educational institutions and community groups once familiar with all TREC presentations.
- Participate in creative and effective outreach and program development activities.
- Represent CCASA at community events and collaborate with committees in a positive manner.
- Work with the Director, Supervisors, colleagues and community partners to develop sexual violence campaigns and micro‑education content.
- Minimum of 3 years’ experience in educational, training or facilitation roles.
- Experience working with children, youth, boys and men.
- Educational background in a related field (Education, Social Work, Human Services, Business) or a combination of relevant experience and education.
- Anti‑oppressive/feminist analysis of sexual violence.
- Strong public‑speaking, facilitation and training skills.
- Comfort working with the business community and other organisations.
- Understanding of issues related to sexual violence and sexual harassment.
- Crisis intervention and assessment skills.
- Flexibility and adaptability to changing demands and client groups.
- Ability to work autonomously, meet deadlines and take initiative.
- Committed to collaboration and creating a healthy work environment.
- Effective problem‑solving, critical‑thinking and decision‑making skills.
- Strong self‑reflection and interpersonal skills.

* Successful candidates will be required to work some early mornings, evenings and weekends.*
As a requirement of this position, the successful candidate must satisfy and receive clear results for a Criminal Record Check and Child Welfare Check.
