Middle School Math Teacher
Job Summary
Position:
Middle School Math Teacher – remote, full‑time online teaching for middle school students. Company:

You will provide high‑quality, personalized math instruction in an online environment. The teacher will deliver synchronous and asynchronous content, support students and families, monitor progress through Stride K12’s learning management system, and work closely with learning coaches to ensure student success.
Responsibilities- Provide engaging synchronous and asynchronous learning experiences for students.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree.
- Active state teaching license.
- Ability to clear required background check.
- Experience working with proposed age group.
- Experience supporting adults and children in the use of technology.
- Experience teaching in an online (virtual) and/or brick‑and‑mortar environment.
- Experience with online learning platforms.
- Ability to work collaboratively with other teachers to interpret and produce numeric, tabular, and graphic representations of student data, and use it to drive instructional decisions.
- Receptive to receiving coaching regularly with administrators and teacher trainers.
- Ability to embrace change and adapt to ensure excellent student outcomes.
- Proficient in Microsoft Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint.
- Ability to rapidly learn and adapt to new technologies and teaching platforms.
- Ability to maintain teacher certification/professional development hours and fluency in K12 systems, programs and curriculum.
This is a virtual position with occasional travel (approximately 20% of the time). You will maintain a professional home office without distraction during the workday, typically 9‑5 or 8‑4 hours. The role requires independence, strong time management, and consistent communication with students, families, and learning coaches.
Compensation and BenefitsSalary: $47,500 annually, with opportunity to earn an annual bonus. Full‑time remote position. Additional benefits include professional development opportunities, participation in the Stride K12 community, and access to online learning management resources.
