We are looking for a motivated University Admissions Counselor to oversee the Phoenix, AZ territory in this remote (work‑from‑home) opportunity. The starting salary is $58,656 per year with a tenure‑based compensation plan that allows you to increase your earning potential upon the completion of each year‑long recruitment cycle.

• Serve the community through hosting and implementing event/activity plans for your territory that build awareness of our academic programs and campus community and drive inquiry generation.
• Provide exceptional counseling to prospective students and their families via in‑person, phone, email, text, or Zoom.
• Connect with community college students, faculty and staff in local community colleges and engage all major stakeholders in your territory.
• Maintain a full schedule that includes fairs, school visits, presentations, community/campus events and hosting campus visits.
• Promote Grand Canyon University in your territory and represent its transformation.
• Use critical thinking skills to support prospective students and families through the admissions process, guiding them toward a successful campus experience.

• A bachelor’s degree.
• No delinquent or in‑default federal student loans; if in a rehabilitation program, your credit report must show payments are current.
• Outstanding time‑management and organization skills.
• Clear communication and engaging presentation skills.
• Self‑motivation and drive to succeed.
• High emotional intelligence; ability to demonstrate empathy when coaching diverse students and families.
• A valid driver’s license, reliable transportation, flexible schedule, and willingness to travel 1‑3 times per month. Clean driving record required.
• Computer literacy and proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
