Position: Part-Time Program Coordinator (Hybrid)

College is dramatically increasing the number of minority and low-income high school students who enter and excel in STEM undergraduate majors and careers and is looking to hire several Part-Time Program Coordinators to support its mission. This is a remote position with occasional in-person responsibilities for recruitment and events. Program coordinator will support virtual courses.

This position is a 1099 position.

OVERVIEW

As a Part-Time Program Coordinator , you will support technical projects, professional communication and stakeholder engagement, as well as a cohort of students and schools in Central Texas and across the United States. You will be supporting Code2

College classes virtually and in-person if you live in one of our cities that we serve. You will also participate in Code2

College in-person events, such as but not limited to: recruitment events, workshops, promotional events, partner events, and lunch and learns.

Additionally, a Part-Time Program Coordinator will:

  • Support a portfolio of student participants in Central Texas and across the United States by leading student check-ins and observing in-person classes, drafting student-facing communications, and supporting student recruitment.
  • Potential to teach Code2

    College class (beginner level Python).
  • Support technical and programmatic projects and initiatives.
  • Support Mass Remote Events (virtually).
  • Track and analyze student-level performance data to identify meaningful and actionable insights regarding programmatic effectiveness, and to identify and act on areas for improvement .
  • Establish and leverage relationships with student participants, volunteer instructors, and other stakeholders to cultivate a sense of community within and across programs.
  • Must be available from 3-6pm CST Monday - Thursday to support Code2

    College classes. However will also need to be available outside of these hours for events and to work on your caseload for up to 30 hours per week.
  • May require work outside of normal business hours and occasional Saturdays.
  • Other duties as assigned.
