Columbia College Online Education is hiring part‑time adjunct instructors to teach undergraduate courses in African Culture & Society. The role is fully online (remote) and supports eight‑week courses. Compensation ranges from $125 to $2,500 per course, depending on qualifications and location.

Columbia College Online Education is accepting applications for adjunct instructors to meet our evolving needs. After completing the application process, your application will be considered active for two years. Qualified applicants will be contacted if an opening in their respective field becomes available. After two years, candidates may reapply to update their application and express continued interest.
Qualifications- Minimum:
Ph.D. or Master’s Degree in African Culture & Society studies. - Alternative:
At least 18 graduate hours in African Culture & Society studies or a related area. - Desirable:
Current professional experience in an associated field and higher education teaching experience.

- Unofficial graduate transcripts
Official graduate transcripts will be required upon offer of employment. The offer of employment and assignment to duties is contingent upon successful completion of our new instructor training course and a satisfactory criminal background check. The background check will include academic, residential, achievement, performance, attendance, disciplinary, employment history, credit history, driving history, and public record criminal history.
