Position description

University Extension is conducting a continuous recruitment search for experienced professionals to serve as both curriculum developers and potential instructors for a new certificate program. We seek individuals with deep expertise in California education policy, finance, and administration across the entire K-16 pipeline.

The initial focus of this role is curriculum creation. Successful candidates who complete the development phase will be highly eligible to teach the courses they helped create, beginning in the  academic year.

This role requires deep subject matter expertise and an unwavering commitment to embedding equity as a core principle.

Courses are 8-10 weeks in length, averaging 7 teaching hours per week, and are offered online (synchronous on Friday evenings or Saturday and/or Sunday) and in-person at UCR Extension. Courses delivered in-person at UCR Extension and online are typically scheduled on Friday evenings, Saturdays and Sundays.
