JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTSPenn State's College of Engineering seeks to hire two instructional designers for spring 2025 to contribute to the development of video-based learning materials for CMPSC 360 and CMPSC 461. The primary responsibilities will include analyzing course materials, identifying topics, and creating interactive video content of 5-10 minutes in length.
Required Skills- Must be a graduate student or an undergraduate student with a strong grade in CMPSC 360 or CMPSC 461.
- Strong communication skills, particularly in English, with the ability to explain complex topics clearly.
- Proficiency in video/audio editing tools and experience in creating course materials.
Successful candidates may have the opportunity to continue their research into the Summer semester, expanding upon their spring work.

Pursuant to the Jeanne Clery Disclosure of Campus Security Policy and Campus Crime Statistics Act and the Pennsylvania Act of 1988, Penn State publishes a combined Annual Security and Annual Fire Safety Report (ASR). The ASR includes crime statistics and institutional policies concerning campus security, such as those concerning alcohol and drug use, crime prevention, the reporting of crimes, sexual assault, and other matters.
