We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Student Services Coordinator to join our team. In this role, you will serve as a key liaison between students and program activities, ensuring a seamless experience for participants. Overview

Role:
Student Services Coordinator responsible for student enrollment, records management, on-site and remote support, and collaboration with teams to enhance program effectiveness. Primary focus is fostering community relationships and ensuring program goals are met.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the recruitment and orientation process for students entering the program.
  • Prepare and administer assessment materials, including pre-tests and post-tests, promptly.
  • Serve as a primary point of contact for students, providing both on-site and remote support.
  • Maintain accurate student records and ensure timely submission of required documentation.
  • Provide excellent customer service by greeting visitors and responding to inquiries via phone and email.
  • Assist students with basic technical issues related to their learning experience.
  • Actively promote and represent program offerings within the community.
  • Track and analyze student recruitment, retention, and attendance data.
  • Generate and submit weekly and monthly reports to supervisors.
  • Organize and manage both physical and electronic student files for easy access and compliance.
  • Build and maintain relationships with external community organizations to enhance program outreach.
  • Coordinate and distribute necessary materials and supplies for students and staff.
  • Support site maintenance efforts, ensuring a clean and organized learning environment.
  • Follow county health department regulations related to the National School Lunch Program (NSLP).
  • Collaborate with instructors and educators to ensure a positive student experience.
  • Perform general clerical duties to support the smooth operation of the site.
  • Document and manage the distribution of technological devices to students.
  • Process student enrollment, registration, transcripts, and other academic requests in a timely manner.
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service abilities.
  • Highly organized with keen attention to detail.
  • Effective time management skills and ability to meet deadlines.
  • Ability to work well in a high-paced and sometimes demanding environment.
  • Professionalism and discretion when handling sensitive and confidential information.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with team members and community partners.
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required. Associate degree or some college coursework preferred. Minimum of two (2) years of relevant experience preferred.
Travel & Language
  • Travel:
    Must have a valid driver's license and personal automobile insurance. Occasional travel required (up to 25%).
  • Language:
    Bilingual in Spanish required.
Physical & Work Environment
  • Ability to sit for extended periods and work on a computer.
  • Regular use of hands, reaching, and hearing required.
  • Occasionally required to walk, stoop, kneel, or lift up to 40 pounds.
  • Exposure to outdoor weather conditions and minor electrical risks may occur. Reasonable accommodations will be provided as needed.
