- Lead the full eligibility process, including intake, evaluation, and IEP development
- Chair eligibility meetings and guide teams through RTI (Response to Intervention) procedures
- Maintain accurate documentation for timelines, eligibility determinations, and IEPs
- Ensure compliance with IDEA, Section 504, ADA, and state mandates, conducting regular audits
- Coordinate among teachers, administrators, specialists, parents, and external agencies to support student needs
- Must possess a Special Education Teaching Certification
- Master’s or Bachelor’s degree in Special Education, Educational Leadership, or related field
- Typically 2–5+ years of experience in special education teaching or coordination
- Experience chairing eligibility/IEP meetings preferred
- Ability to maintain a professional home office without distraction during work hours
- Familiarity with federal and state regulations regarding special education
- Strong interpersonal skills for collaboration with educators, families, and service providers
- Experience in conducting audits of records and procedures
- Knowledge of data-driven instructional models and assessment practices
- Passion for serving students with disabilities in an online education environment
