• The primary focus is undergraduate instruction, with responsibilities that may include graduate-level teaching, mentoring students, serving on committees, participating in community engagement, and acting as a liaison with clinical sites (which may require travel).
• Teaching may occur across USF’s three campuses:
  Tampa, St. Petersburg, and Sarasota‑Manatee.
• Faculty are also expected to contribute to curriculum development, service, and scholarly activities appropriate to the rank of Instructor I.
• In‑person presence during standard business hours is required; remote work option is not available for this position.

• Master's degree from an accredited institution in an appropriate field of specialization or equivalent qualifications based on professional experience.
• Must meet university criteria for appointment to the rank of Instructor (non‑tenure earning).

• Must hold, or be eligible for, licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN) or Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) in the state of Florida by the start date.
• Minimum of two years of direct patient care clinical experience.
• Minimum of three years of classroom and clinical teaching experience.

• Doctoral degree in Nursing (DNP or PhD).
• Preference given to individuals with a documented record of successful leadership and teaching in a higher education environment.
• A broad range of clinical knowledge and expertise in various settings or specialty areas.
• Local, state, or national leadership in a nursing professional organization.
• Strong communication and technology skills, and experience in curriculum design and evaluation of program outcomes.
