Non-Exempt, Hourly

Assist undergraduate and graduate nursing students with practice and competency evaluation of nursing skills in a supportive, nurturing, clinical environment. Participate in Simulation Based Education (SBE) across nursing curriculums.

• Provide nursing students with the support necessary to practice nursing skills.
• Administer competency evaluation of psychomotor skills for undergraduate students with reinforcement and remediation of nursing skills as warranted.
• Facilitate simulation experiences: setup, scenario competency, breakdown of environment, and debriefing.
• Assist with the day-to-day activities of the CLC.
• Assist with maintenance of laboratory environment, inventory of supplies and equipment.

• Bachelor's degree (Registered Nurse, B.S.N.)
• 5 to 8 years of clinical/simulation experience
• Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, Word)

Daily contact requiring courtesy, discretion, and sound judgment.

The hiring hourly rate for this position is $40.00. This hourly pay rate represents the University's good faith and reasonable estimate of the range of compensation at the time of posting.
