Locum Jobs Online  is working with Curative to find a qualified Oncology MD in Grand Rapids, Michigan, 49503!

Medical Oncology Locums in Michigan - Flexible Blocks, APP Support

Outpatient-based oncology assignment in Grand Rapids with tumor board participation and light call rotation.

Highlights

  • Monday through Friday, 8 AM to 5 PM
  • Block scheduling available; ongoing need
  • Full support from 10 APPs across inpatient and outpatient teams
  • Call is 1 in 5, evenings only, with weekend APP support

Practice Setting

  • Outpatient cancer center with multidisciplinary collaboration
  • 6 physicians onsite; EPIC charting
  • Focus on lung cancer and general hematology

Schedule

  • Full-time schedule with 8-16 patients per day
  • Inpatient census averages 22 across two hospitals
  • APPs handle most weekend and inpatient rounding

Cases and Procedures

  • FNA/Biopsy procedures required
  • Orders tests, images, and prescriptions
  • Active participation in tumor board

Requirements

  • Board Certified or Eligible (within 5 years) in Medical Oncology
  • Active Michigan license preferred
  • BLS certification required
  • Recent FNA/Biopsy case logs needed
