Aspects of the physician role:

• Team based approach
  . The primary care team is broken into four pods that serve continuity for patient care. Each pod consists of a consistent provider group, supported by an advanced practitioner, and 1:1 medical assistant support. The Advanced Practitioner helps support messages and indirect care, with built in coverage when a provider(s) is out of the office.
• Integrative primary care model
  . VMFH has an innovative approach, with embedded pharmacists and behavioral health specialists within the primary care team, partnering to provide the best care to patients. In primary care, we provide focused, coordinated care for our patients that have resulted in excellent health outcomes.
• Flexible schedule options
  . We partner with you to develop a schedule that balances the needs of our patients and providers.
• Access to ancillary and specialty services
  :
  Ready access to specialty and sub-specialty support through interprofessional consults and direct referrals with collegial and responsive results.
• Teaching opportunities
  : VMFH is a teaching environment with regular opportunities to precept medical students and residents. A robust and nurturing environment with active structured mentoring for providers new to practice.

• Compensation
  : A competitive compensation model that incentives quality. Compensation range: $314,000 - $345,000 /year.
