Emergency Medicine Physician Locum Tenens

Rhino Medical is leading the charge seeking Board Certified or Board Eligible Emergency Medicine Physicians for a long-term locum assignment beginning January 2026 . This is a busy emergency department with high acuity, steady patient volume, and multiple shift options to fit your scheduling needs.

Assignment Highlights

Start Date: January 1, 2026
Contract Type: Locum Tenens – 6+ months ongoing need
Coverage Need: 18–20 shifts per month (2 FTE equivalent)
Schedule: Days, Swings, and Nights available
Shift Times: 6a–4p, 8a–8p, 10a–10p, 12p–12a, 3p–2a, 8p–6a
Privileges: Temp privileges possible with clean file

Program Details

Annual ED Volume: ~36,000
Patients per Hour: ~2
ED Beds: 16
Admitting Orders: Required for some patients
APP Coverage: None - Physician Only Coverage Model
Trauma Designation: University-affiliated trauma center support
EMR: Epic

Candidate Requirements

Board Certified/Eligible in Emergency Medicine
Active Missouri state license & Unrestricted DEA
Clean file for expedited privileging
