Join Our Team as a Locum Physician in Radiology – Telehealth Position Available in Charleston, WV
Overview:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated Locum Physician specializing in Radiology to provide exceptional remote coverage for our hospital partners. This pivotal role offers an excellent opportunity to work flexibly, providing high-quality imaging interpretations across a variety of modalities including XR, CT, MR, US, and NM. This position is ideal for radiologists looking to make a meaningful impact while maintaining work-life balance.
Required Skills:
- Board Certification in Radiology (A or equivalent)
- Ability to interpret MSK, Neuro, and Emergency Room cases
- Experience reading high-volume studies, minimum of 80 exams for MR and Body cases
- Proficiency in modalities such as XR, CT, MR, US, and NM
- Strong diagnostic skills with attention to detail
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment
Skills:
- Subspecialty experience in Neuro or MSK radiology
- Previous telehealth or teleradiology experience
- Familiarity with hospital PACS and reporting systems
- Ability to read complex neurological cases
Education and Experience:
- Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Active medical license in West Virginia or eligible to obtain licensure
- Minimum of 3 years of radiology reading experience preferred
- Experience with high-volume case loads and diverse imaging modalities
- Availability to start on 12/31/2025
- Ability to work varied shifts including evenings and weekends (M-F 4p-12a, Sat/Sun 4p-12a)
- Must include malpractice insurance in hourly rates
- Willingness to work in a remote capacity with potential on-site duties for general diagnostic radiology
- Must comply with all applicable state, federal, and local laws regarding licensure, certification, and workplace policies
Hourly Pay Rate: $19.50
