• Plan, evaluate, and implement high‑quality medical care with appropriate resource management for adult and pediatric patients in cooperation with center physicians.
• Adhere to the service and courtesy standards of Prisma Health Urgent Care, delivering the highest standard of patient satisfaction at all times.
• Provide patient care within the respective clinical area in compliance with Professional Staff Bylaws, rules, regulations and Prisma Health Urgent Care policies and procedures.
• Serve as a resource for patients, families and staff.
• Authentically report all services rendered and maintain accurate and complete records in an acceptable manner.
• Complete necessary documentation and ensure communication to facilitate patient care and appropriate reimbursement.
• Participate in meetings/activities as required to support operations of the urgent care.
• Participate in activities that enhance professional development, complete and maintain certification in BLS, ACLS, ATLS, PALS, or NALS and maintain any additional specialty training/certifications as required by the area assigned.
• Report to the Regional Medical Director (RMD) and/or Area Clinical Operations Director (ACOD).

• Board Certified (or Board Eligible) and licensed to practice medicine in the state of practice.
• Licensed Physician in accordance with the state of South Carolina.
• Current DEA registration.
• Experience with procedures including suturing and drainage of abscesses.
• Experience with reading diagnostic studies including X‑rays and EKGs.
• BLS certification (will be provided if needed).
• Meets eligibility requirements for credentialing set forth by Well Street Urgent Care.
• Experience in Urgent Care, Family Medicine or Emergency Medicine preferred.
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with patients, families and other employees.
