OverviewThe Emory University Department of Pediatrics, Division of Neonatology, in collaboration with Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta, is seeking a clinical neonatologist to join our faculty. The faculty member will contribute to the clinical, research, and teaching missions of the Division of Neonatology and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta with clinical coverage in the NICU and participation in student, resident, and fellow education.
Responsibilities- Provide clinical coverage in the NICU and participate in student, resident, and fellow education.
- Contribute to the clinical, research, and teaching missions of the Division of Neonatology and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
- MD, MD/PhD, or equivalent.
- Board-certified/board-eligible in Neonatal-Perinatal Medicine.
- History of academic excellence/achievement and ability to work in a collaborative fashion.
The Division of Neonatology is a large and diverse group with more than 75 faculty, neonatal nurse practitioners, clinical fellows, and administrative staff. We provide outstanding clinical care at three Emory-affiliated hospitals:
Grady Memorial Hospital, Emory Midtown, and Egleston Children’s Hospital. Our high risk Developmental Progress Clinic serves outpatients from these facilities and other regional institutions. Each year our inpatient facilities see more than 9,000 deliveries, more than 1,500 admissions to our intensive care units, and over 1,200 patients in our high-risk follow-up clinics. Education and research are core missions that support ongoing improvements in patient care.

Employment will be in the Emory + Children’s Pediatric Institute with a faculty appointment in Emory University School of Medicine, Department of Pediatrics. The Emory + Children’s Pediatric Institute is an affiliation between Emory University and Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta. This partnership supports clinical care, basic science and clinical research, and education of the future healthcare workforce.

Position tasks are generally required to be performed in-person at an Emory University location. Remote work from home day options may be granted at department discretion. Emory reserves the right to change remote work status with notice to employee.
