Overview
Emergency Radiology Faculty – All Ranks — The Department of Radiology at Columbia University Irving Medical Center / New York-Presbyterian invites applications for remote clinical faculty positions as a multimodality radiologist to join a busy multi-specialty practice group in the Division of Emergency Radiology.
Compensation and academic rank will vary based on credentials, expertise, and experience. Salary range starts at $455,000 (for a faculty member in the first year out of fellowship). Columbia offers a generous benefits package.
Responsibilities- Provide remote clinical radiology services as a multimodality radiologist in a high-volume emergency radiology setting.
- Collaborate closely with world-class clinical teams to deliver comprehensive patient care.
- Engage in a clinical schedule that includes late afternoon, evening, weekend, and overnight shifts on a 7 day-on / 14 day-off cycle, totaling 17 weeks of coverage per academic year.
- Support the Division of Emergency Radiology which oversees all diagnostic imaging for ED patients and collaborate with Emergency Medicine, Surgery, the Trauma Service, and other radiology specialty sections.
- Participate in daily didactic and hands-on training of radiology residents (approximately 32 residents rotating through the division).

Qualifications- MD or DO. Candidate must be board certified or board eligible in Diagnostic Radiology.
- Current New York license is preferred and ultimately required for the position.
- Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, Emergency Radiology, Body Imaging, Musculoskeletal Radiology, or Pediatric Radiology is preferred.
