We are seeking a Radiation Oncologist for a 260-day locum tenens assignment in Colorado, starting Mar 16, 2026. This full-time opportunity features a Monday to Friday, 8am–5pm schedule, with shared weekend call expectations. The role involves providing collaborative, high-quality care in both hospital and clinic settings.

Radiation Oncologist - Schedule:
Full-time coverage, Monday–Friday 8am–5pm; shared call expectation 1 weekend
- Function independently to deliver patient-centric, high-quality care across various settings and modalities, including in-person, telephone, video, or secure email
- Gather patient history, conduct physical exams, review prior records and ancillary data, and use critical problem-solving to guide care
- Develop, monitor, and adjust treatment plans while communicating effectively with patients, families, and care teams
- Provide efficient and compassionate care utilizing a multi-disciplinary approach for communication, continuity, coordination, and evaluation
- Educate and counsel patients and families on care plans, treatments, and discharge processes
- Collaborate with healthcare team members, leadership, and medical staff to ensure patient safety and regulatory compliance
- Assist collaborating physicians in hospital management of patients within the approved scope of practice
- Maintain documentation and practice in accordance with regulatory and care site guidelines
- Adhere to the mission, vision, and values of the client and uphold service behavior standards
- Float to other departments within scope as needed and participate in on-call rotations
- Required
Education:
MD or DO degree from an accredited medical or osteopathic school of medicine; residency trained in Radiation Oncology - Licensure:
Must hold a current license to practice medicine in Colorado - Certifications:
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS), Basic Life Support (BLS), and DEA registration required
