Overview

The Department of Radiology and Radiological Sciences at Vanderbilt University Medical Center (VUMC) is expanding. We are seeking a full-time emergency radiologist to join our Emergency Radiology section, which is comprised of board-certified radiologists with fellowship specializations including neuroradiology, pediatric radiology, abdominal imaging and musculoskeletal imaging.

• Section comprised of 10 fellowship-trained faculty
• Services provided to the emergency departments within the Vanderbilt University Medical Center system, including Level I adult and pediatric trauma centers
• Teach medical students, residents, and fellows

• This position can be remote or a hybrid combination

• Fellowship training in Neuroradiology, Emergency Radiology, Abdominal Imaging, Musculoskeletal Imaging or Pediatric Radiology preferred
• Hold an MD or equivalent degree
• A  eligible/certified
• Eligible for TN license
• Comfortable in interpretation of Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, and Neuroradiology emergency room related studies at a Level I trauma center
• Participation in multidisciplinary conferences and education of trainees and medical students
