Healthy Minds NYC is a vibrant, clinician-led outpatient psychiatry practice dedicated to delivering culturally competent, highly accessible mental health care to New Yorkers. We are actively seeking 4th-year residents and fellows who want to begin their outpatient journey part time—starting as early as the New Year—with the opportunity to expand hours over time and transition into a full-time attending role.

Part-Time Psychiatrist (with option to ramp to full-time)
In-person and telehealth options available

You will:

• Conduct psychiatric evaluations and provide medication management
• Work closely with therapists, care coordinators, and other clinicians
• Participate in case consultations and interprofessional learning
• Grow your caseload at a pace that aligns with your training schedule and career goals
• Step into a practice that values your voice, your ideas, and your clinical growth

• $150/hour for Board-Eligible psychiatrists
• $200-$250/hour for Board-Certified psychiatrists (dependent on schedule)

Minimum: 8 clinical hours per week, with flexibility around academic schedules.

• Current fellows in any psychiatry subspecialty
• Recent graduates preparing for board certification

Healthy Minds NYC is where early-career psychiatrists come to flourish.

• MD or DO degree from an accredited institution
• Completed residency training in Psychiatry
• Board certification in Psychiatry or eligibility for certification
• Experience in outpatient mental health settings preferred
• Familiarity with telehealth practices is a plus
• Strong communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate approach to patient care and ability to work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team
• Commitment to ongoing professional development and best practices in psychiatry

This is a part-time role and will be paid as a 1099 contractor. However, if the successful applicant chooses to grow at the practice and transition to full-time work they will receive:
