Position Overview

We are seeking a full-time Physician Assistant (PA) to join our Family Medicine team. The ideal candidate will be a motivated, team-oriented professional with a passion for primary care. While prior experience is preferred, we are open to considering new graduates who demonstrate strong clinical skills and a desire to grow in a supportive practice environment.

This position offers the opportunity to work some hours remotely. Alliance Primary Care conducts daily virtual visits
, and the PA will participate in providing telemedicine care as part of their clinical responsibilities.

Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive outpatient primary care to patients of all ages.
  • Conduct routine physical exams, manage chronic and acute conditions.
  • Participate in daily virtual visits with patients via telemedicine platforms.
  • Order and interpret diagnostic tests and labs.
  • Assist with minor in-office procedures.
  • Collaborate with supervising physician and clinical team.
  • Document visits accurately in the electronic health record (EHR).
  • Educate patients on health promotion and disease prevention.
Qualifications
  • Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program.
  • Current PA license in the state of Alabama (or eligible).
  • NCCPA certification.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to patient-centered care.
  • Family medicine or primary care experience preferred, but not required.
  • Comfort with telemedicine platforms and remote patient care.
