Remote Trauma Radiologist – 17 Weeks Early Overnight Rotation
We are inviting a full‑time remote Trauma Radiologist to join Emory University and Grady Memorial Hospital. The position reads high‑volume, high‑acuity trauma cases at one of the Southeast’s busiest Level 1 trauma centers. Remote from anywhere in the U.S. except New Jersey, Hawaii, and Alaska.
Responsibilities- Early overnight rotation: 1 week on (7 days, 9‑hour shifts, 6 p‑3 a EST Monday‑Friday, 4 midnight EST Saturday‑Sunday) and 2 weeks off (including recovery, vacation, CME, academic days) = 17 weeks per year.
- Read exclusive trauma imaging at Grady Memorial Hospital: CT head, CT cervical spine & face, CTA trauma CAP, CTA runoffs, X‑ray, and any other modalities as required.
- Collaborate with a dedicated emergency neuroradiologist and other evening/overnight trauma radiologists.
- Communicate with faculty and on‑site trainees primarily via Teams.
- Participate in teaching, trainee supervision, and other divisional activities as required.
- A board‑certified or eligible, with an unrestricted Georgia medical license (or eligibility to obtain one).
- Experience and interest in trauma imaging; previous emergency and trauma imaging experience preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in multiple imaging modalities and ability to thrive in a fast‑paced emergency environment.
