1099 Utilization Review work for Radiation Oncologists – Flexible Independent Contractor (1099) opportunity with Medical Review Institute of America (MRIoA).

Founded in 1983, Medical Review Institute of America (MRIoA) is a nationally recognized independent review organization (IRO) specializing in technology-driven utilization management and clinical medical review solutions. We’re a leader in Peer and Utilization Reviews, known for excellence and continuous improvement.

We’re seeking a Board-Certified Radiation Oncologist with a current Minnesota or Indiana medical license (or current approval from the IMLC) to provide expert Utilization Reviews. This is a flexible, remote opportunity requiring just 1–2 hours per week, possibly more if you’re interested.

• Stay up-to-date on clinical practices and treatment trends in your specialty
• Gain insight into the approval process for your own patients’ treatments
• Most reviews take just 30–60 minutes to complete each review
• No minimum case requirements

• Remote, work-from-home position – work anywhere in the U.S.
• Independent contractor role (1099 status)
• Covered by MRIoA’s Errors and Omissions policy (not traditional malpractice insurance)
• Work can only be done within the U.S. per regulations

• MD or DO, board certified in Radiation Oncology
• Minimum 5 years of clinical experience in Radiation Oncology
• Unrestricted Minnesota or Indiana medical license (or current approval from the IMLC)
• Strong computer and online navigation skills
• U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (Visa sponsorship not available)
