Prisma Community Care is seeking a part-time Medical Director to serve as a Supervising Physician for Physician Assistants (PAs) and to be available as a clinical resource to our team of Nurse Practitioners and other providers. This is a remote, non-clinical leadership role with no direct patient care responsibilities. The Medical Director will ensure clinical oversight, support provider education, and contribute to a collaborative environment focused on safety, equity, and quality of care.

SLGBTQIA+ and Queer individuals, and those affected by HIV.
What your day will look like at Prisma Community Care:
- You will serve as the designated supervising physician for PAs, meeting state regulatory requirements for oversight and availability.
- You will be available for consultation by providers regarding clinical questions, complex cases, or escalation of care needs.
- You will provide clinical guidance on protocols, care standards, and evidence-based best practices, especially in areas such as HIV treatment, PrEP/PEP, and Gender Affirming Hormone Therapy (GAHT).
- You will support the onboarding, training, and ongoing mentorship of providers, ensuring alignment with organizational values and care standards.
- You will participate in the development and periodic review of clinical protocols to maintain culturally competent and evidence-based care.
- You will provide input on quality assurance initiatives and review documentation or clinical decisions when necessary to support high standards of care.
- You will assist in maintaining compliance with regulatory and accreditation requirements as they relate to provider supervision and medical oversight.
