A new hospital is seeking an anesthesiologist for locum tenens coverage.

The facility is located in Smithfield, VA.

The site handles GI, urology (mostly cystoscopies), general surgery, orthopedics, and minor vascular cases, with no peds, neuro, ENT, or gyn, and offers easy supervision of bread-and-butter cases at a new hospital. The role is an 8-hour shift with no call, uses Epic, involves supervising CRNAs at a 2:1 ratio without doing solo cases, and accepts board-certified candidates as well as those needing to obtain a state license;

overtime is not expected but available.
