Job Description & How to Apply Below

Overview

Eve is an industry leader in legal tech, empowering plaintiff attorneys with AI-driven solutions to achieve better outcomes for their clients. Our core values—Excellence, Visionary Innovation, and Elevation—drive everything we do. We are committed to providing tools that transform the legal industry and support our clients' success at every step. Targeting a total addressable market (TAM) of over $500 billion, we are positioned at the forefront of a rapidly expanding industry.

The

Opportunity

We’re hiring a Product Design leader to define the craft, systems, and user experience that will shape the future of Eve’s products. This person will raise the design bar across the company owning end-to-end product design for both our core platform and new AI-powered experiences, while building the design team and foundations that allow great design to scale. You’ll partner closely with Product and Engineering to turn complex legal workflows into intuitive, trustworthy software.

What

You ll Do
  • Establish Eve’s design system, visual language, and interaction standards, creating the components, guidelines, and artifacts that define the company’s design quality bar
  • Lead end-to-end design for Eve’s core product and new 0→1 initiatives, raising the UX quality of existing surfaces while shaping entirely new product experiences
  • Design and ship AI-native product experiences, including agent workflows, human-in-the-loop systems, and trust-centered interfaces for LLM-powered features
  • Own the customer empathy function for the design team, running user interviews, usability tests, and workflow research to ensure products reflect how lawyers actually work
  • Partner closely with Product and Engineering leadership to drive product discovery, define UX direction, and accelerate delivery through clear specs and early design decisions
  • Improve the speed and quality of the product development process through effective design reviews, async feedback loops, and design-ready handoffs
  • Recruit, mentor, and develop designers, creating an environment where the team produces exceptional work and grows in craft
  • Run design critiques and reviews that elevate quality while building a strong design culture
  • Over time, build and lead Eve’s design organization, evolving the team, processes, and standards as the company scales
  • Act as a design voice in company strategy, helping shape product direction and ensuring the customer perspective is represented in key decisions
What You ll Bring
  • Exceptional product design craft, demonstrated through a portfolio of shipped products with strong interaction design, information architecture, and visual quality
  • Proven ability to lead design end-to-end, from ambiguous problem space through discovery, prototyping, iteration, and launch
  • Experience building or evolving a design system at a growth-stage company, including component architecture and scalable design foundations
  • Track record of owning complex enterprise workflows and transforming them into intuitive, usable product experiences
  • Experience mentoring and developing designers, running effective design critiques, and setting a high craft bar through your own work
  • Strong customer research skills, including conducting interviews, usability testing, and synthesizing insights into actionable product direction
  • Deep experience designing enterprise B2B products, ideally in complex or high-stakes domains (e.g., legal, financial, healthcare)
  • Familiarity with AI/LLM product design, including chat interfaces, agent workflows, trust and transparency patterns, and human-in-the-loop systems
  • Ability to collaborate closely with product managers and engineers to translate product strategy into clear UX direction and shipped experiences
  • Strong communication and storytelling skills, with the ability to clearly explain design rationale to executives, customers, and cross-functional teams
  • A player-coach mindset—comfortable contributing high-quality IC design work while building and leading a team as the design function scales
Benefits
  • Competitive Salary & Equity
  • 401(k) Program & company match
  • Health, Dental, Vision and Life Insurance
  • Short Term and Long Term Disability
  • Commuter Benefits
  • Autonomous Work Environment
  • In-Office/Home Office Setup Reimbursement
  • Flexible Time Off (FTO) + Holidays
  • Quarterly Team Gatherings
  • In Office Perks
