Senior Interior Designer – Hybrid; WFH

This London-based design studio specialises in airport and travel retail environments, working with international retailers, operators and airport authorities around the world. Their work focuses on shaping commercial spaces within terminals - from duty free stores to wider retail environments - helping brands translate their identity into engaging physical experiences for passengers. Projects typically run from early concept through to rollout, combining strong retail design thinking with a clear understanding of passenger flow, brand experience and commercial performance.

The studio is looking for a Senior Interior Designer to lead concept development across a number of travel retail and airport projects. This is a vision‑led position for a designer who enjoys shaping big ideas and developing strong spatial narratives rather than focusing on technical production. You will take projects from early sketch design and mood boarding through to client presentation and approval, developing the overall creative direction of retail environments and defining how the space should feel and function.

Strong hand sketching and the ability to communicate ideas visually is essential, alongside the confidence to present concepts and build relationships with clients. You will work closely with the in‑house 3D and architecture teams, guiding the creative direction as designs evolve into visualisations and developed schemes. The role is focused on concept design, spatial storytelling and creative leadership rather than producing technical drawing packages.

The studio works predominantly remotely, with most of the team working from home and typically coming into the studio around one day a week for collaboration and team time.
