This is a full-time hybrid role for an Interior Designer located in Shelburne, VT, with opportunities for remote work. The Interior Designer will work closely with clients to create personalized interior spaces, develop functional and aesthetic designs, and ensure project deliverables meet the highest standards of quality. Day-to-day responsibilities include creating space plans, collaborating with architects and contractors, selecting FF&E (furniture, fixtures, and equipment), and preparing construction drawings to effectively communicate design concepts.
The role will also involve creating positive client experiences and maintaining strong partnerships with team members and customers.
- Proficiency in Space Planning and Interior Design to deliver innovative and client-focused solutions
- Knowledge of Architecture and Construction Drawings to ensure design feasibility and project execution
- Experience with FF&E selection and specification to curate functional and aesthetically pleasing spaces
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with clients, architects, and contractors
- Strong organizational and project management skills to meet deadlines and budgets effectively
- Proficiency in design software such as AutoCAD, Sketch Up, or similar tools is preferred
- Bachelor’s degree in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field required
- Professional certification (e.g., NCIDQ) or LEED Accreditation is a plus
