As an Interior Designer at Soul Interiors Design, you will play a pivotal role in managing interior design projects from concept to completion. You will collaborate closely with clients, architects, engineers, and other consultants to translate the client’s vision and project programming into reality. Your expertise and leadership will drive project success and contribute to the growth and reputation of our firm.
Key ResponsibilitiesCollaboration:
Cultivate strong client relationships through effective communication, understanding client needs, presenting design proposals, and soliciting feedback to ensure client satisfaction and project success.
Collaboration:
Collaborate with contractors, architects, engineers, workrooms and vendors to coordinate design implementation, resolve technical challenges, and ensure a successful project.
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Interior Design, Architecture, or related field.
- 5 years minimum experience in interior design, with a focus on residential design and construction
- Proficiency in CAD software (Chief Architect, preferred), Microsoft Office Suite, and Adobe Creative Suite. Experience with Quick Books, Asana, and Dropbox, a plus.
- Strong design portfolio showcasing innovative design solutions, creative thinking, and knowledge of construction detailing.
- Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to manage projects, teams, and maintain positive client relationships.
- Ability to multi-task and prioritize deliverables.
- Strong organizational skills and excellent attention to detail.
- Positive, can-do attitude and ability to resolve issues professionally.
- Proficiency in writing F,F & E specifications and producing Estimated Budgets.
- Knowledge of residential building codes, industry standards and current trends.
- LEED or WELL-AP accreditation or other sustainability certifications, a plus.
- Membership in professional organizations such as ASID or NKBA (preferred).
- Must be a US citizen and/or have authorization to work in the US.
