The intermediate interior designer leads various phases of interior design and/or integrated design projects with oversight from a senior designer and/or project lead, coordinating directly with clients, consultants, contractors, and representatives from public authorities. They will work on small to mid-scale projects and collaborate with all project team members, consultants, and vendors. They will work on multiple projects and keep the project lead and supervisor updated on progress and issues as they arise.

• Conduct and oversee site verifications and gather space inventory data
• Prepare and oversee programming analysis and lead client interviews
• Develop and oversee space planning and code studies
• Develop and oversee design concepts, presentations, and presentation materials
• Develop and oversee the selection of materials and finishes and sample boards
• Develop and oversee furnishing selections and the preparation of furnishings documentation
• Prepare and oversee contract documents and specifications
• Coordinate with consultants and vendors
• Prepare, review and oversee construction administration documentation and attend site walkthroughs
• Lead client meetings, participate as required and prepare meeting minutes
• Establish and maintain project schedules, workplans and EVA’s
• Assist and prepare client fee letters, schedules, and review client invoicing
• Schedule work assignments, setting priorities and delegating work accordingly
  
  Confirm supporting project team members understanding of tasks including expected timeline of deliverables and how long they should take to complete to ensure workplan/fees are on track
