LANDSCAPE DESIGNER

Ceara Studio, Inc. is a boutique firm located in San Francisco, focusing on high end residential work throughout the Bay Area. We are seeking a passionate and driven landscape designer who is enthusiastic and motivated for a unique position to be part of a growing studio. The ideal candidate will work directly with the firm’s founder in project development from schematic design to construction documentation.

• Prepare site plans, permit sets, and documentation sets, following the firm’s standards.
• Be a key contributor to the overall production of all deliverables on various projects and phases within the firm.
• Prepare presentation and documentation for schematic design, design development, and construction documentation.
• Undertake project research relative to permitting, materiality, and design intent.
• Assist in research for product and construction methods related to projects.
• Work closely with the Founder to complete projects for client presentations and meetings.
• Collaborate on the design of high-end residential projects.
• Embrace and follow established company production standards and procedures.
• Contribute to the firm’s technical knowledge base and standard systems for continuing growth and improving efficiencies.
• Work both independently and collaboratively in a hybrid remote environment.

• 3-5 years of work experience in landscape architecture.
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Landscape Architecture.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD is required.
• Previous experience with LandF/X is preferred or must be willing to learn.
• Familiarity with Adobe Creative Cloud and Sketchup is desired but not necessary.
• Experience preparing construction drawings and specifications.
  
  High attention to detail and ability to perform quality control.
• Able to collaborate remotely across multiple platforms using multiple mediums.
• Excellent organization, time management, and communication skills.
• Flexibility and taking initiative.

• Commensurate with experience.
• Part-Time or Full-Time position based upon abilities and experience.
• Hybrid/Remote position.
• Capabilities of commuting and working all over the bay area.
