Opening: Senior Architect
Location: Remote (Alaska, Pacific Northwest or Midwest)
Pay: $100,000 to $120,000 annually to start with strong salary advancement opportunity
Opti Staffing Group is partnering with a growing architecture firm that is known for thoughtful design, strong technical execution, and a collaborative project environment. Their team works across a variety of civic, commercial, and community focused projects that require both creative design thinking and strong technical expertise. They are looking to add a Senior Architect who can contribute leadership, guide architectural documentation, and help maintain high technical standards across projects.
This role offers the flexibility of remote work while collaborating closely with a team operating primarily in the Pacific and Central time zones.
We are seeking an experienced Senior Architect to support architectural planning, design development, and technical coordination across multiple projects. This role plays a key part in ensuring design intent, code compliance, and construction documentation are delivered at a high standard. The ideal candidate will bring strong technical knowledge along with leadership capability, helping guide project teams while maintaining quality and consistency across deliverables.
WHATYOU'LL DO
- Lead architectural planning and design development across project phases
- Review and coordinate drawings, plans, and specifications
- Guide the development of construction drawings and architectural details
- Conduct code studies and ensure compliance with applicable regulations
- Coordinate closely with engineering and multidisciplinary design teams
- Mentor junior architects and support internal design reviews
- Provide technical guidance to ensure projects remain accurate, compliant, and constructible
- Bachelor's degree in Architecture or related field
- Active NCARB certification
- Strong understanding of building codes, architectural documentation, and construction methods
- Experience supporting or leading architectural projects through multiple phases
- Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams in a remote environment
- Strong communication and technical coordination skills
- Starting salary between $100,000 and $120,000 annually
, depending on experience - Opportunity for salary advancement and long term growth
- Initial 1099 contract period for the first 90 days
, followed by transition to employee status - Full employee benefits available after the contract period
