Senior Project Architect

A globally renowned Architecture, Engineering, and Construction (AEC) firm is seeking a Senior Project Architect to join their downtown Chicago office
. The firm delivers complex, high profile projects across the United States and internationally
, spanning sectors including industrial, residential, commercial, education, public sector, mixed use, and hospitality developments valued up to $200M+.

This role offers the opportunity to work within an integrated AEC environment
, collaborating closely with engineering and construction teams to deliver technically sophisticated projects from concept through completion.

The Senior Project Architect will play a key leadership role in project delivery, technical design, and team coordination across a diverse portfolio of projects. Working alongside architects, engineers, and construction professionals, this position will help ensure seamless integration between design intent and project execution.

Projects range from large scale mixed use developments and hospitality projects to complex industrial and institutional facilities
, both domestically and internationally.

• Lead architectural project delivery across multiple sectors including industrial, residential, commercial, education, public sector, mixed use, and hospitality developments.
• Manage projects through all phases of design and documentation
  , coordinating closely with engineering and construction teams.
• Ensure design intent, technical quality, and constructability across projects valued up to $200M+.
• Collaborate with internal architects, engineers, consultants, and project leadership teams to drive successful project outcomes.
• Oversee production of construction documentation and ensure compliance with codes and industry standards.
• Participate in client meetings, design reviews, and presentations.
• Provide mentorship and guidance to junior architects and project staff.
• Support coordination between architecture, engineering, and construction teams within the integrated AEC environment.

• 10+ years of architectural experience delivering complex commercial or institutional projects.
• Licensed Architect required.
• Experience coordinating multidisciplinary teams within architecture, engineering, or design build environments.
• Strong technical design and documentation capabilities across all phases of project delivery.
• Proficiency with Revit and BIM based workflows.
• Experience working on large projects
