Sr. Signaling Systems Designer; Remote

In this role, you will be responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and designing fire alarm systems, ensuring coordination and quality control of designs. You'll have the opportunity to mentor junior designers and lead intricate projects, contributing significantly to the safety and efficiency of fire protection systems.

Your expertise will be crucial in preparing drawings and coordinating with clients and authorities having jurisdiction, while working in a remote friendly environment that fosters professional growth.

• Design fire alarm systems using AutoCAD within established time constraints.
• Review consulting documents and apply them to fire alarm design.
• Ensure client deliverables are met in a timely manner.
• Compile drawing submittal packages for approval submissions.
• Make modifications to drawings based on quality control reviews.
• Mentor junior designers when needed.

• 7-10 years CAD design experience in the Architectural, Construction or MEP trade required.
• Prior experience in REVIT preferred.
• NICET certification in Level III preferred.
• High School or GED required.
• 2 years' college or specialized training in Fire Protection or CAD Technical School;
  Bachelor’s degree in related fields preferred.
• Working competency with MS Office software.
• Demonstrated proficiency in verbal and written communication.
