Landscape Planner

Platinum Search Recruitment is working with a well-established design practice to recruit an experienced Landscape Planner on a permanent basis.
This is a fully remote position, however any applicants must have the relevant experience & experience with LVIA.

This role offers the opportunity to work on a wide range of residential and mixed-use developments, contributing to high-quality, landscape-led planning outcomes from early feasibility through to planning submission.

Key Responsibilities:

Key Responsibilities (Essentials)
 
* Preparing and contributing to Landscape and Visual Impact Assessments (LVIA)
 
* Undertaking landscape and visual appraisals to support planning applications
 
* Carrying out site visits, viewpoint selection, and baseline landscape analysis
 
* Supporting the preparation of planning reports, figures, and technical documentation
 
* Assisting with landscape-led feasibility and master planning work
 
* Coordinating with architects, urban designers, and planning teams
 
* Responding to planning authority feedback and consultation comments
Landscape Planner

Key Requirements:

* Proven experience producing LVIA for planning applications
 
* Strong understanding of UK planning policy and guidance relating to landscape and visual matters
 
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
 
* Good analytical and report-writing abilities
 
* Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, InDesign)
 
* AutoCAD experience desirable
 
* Competent user of MS Office
